Clervaux - cité de l’image focuses on contemporary photography exhibited in an outdoor context. These are temporary exhibitions. The presentation occurs in the form of open-air installations. Large-format pictures can be seen in the city centre and the surrounding area. The displayed photographs analyse the expressive possibilities of the medium and allow a look at the urban space, the rural milieu, the local population and contemporary photographic production.
The annual and thematic programme of Clervaux - cite de l’image turns the town into an outdoor gallery experience. You can discover artworks on the walls, throughout the flower gardens and down the maze of streets. At the moment, six different locations show photographs, which can be visited by a trail accessible for free all year round.

In rainy weather, there are many places where transparent umbrellas from Clervaux - cité de l'image can be borrowed free of charge. After the tour, you can simply return the umbrellas to any partner station.
