Over 150 km of hiking trails pass through the municipality of Clervaux in the Luxembourg Ardennes. On this page, you will find the perfect hike for you, adapted to your desires and your level.

New: Eislek PAD

The Eislek region has a total of 18 circular hiking trails designated as "quality trails". Based on the strict criteria of the European Hiking Federation, these new routes are above all very fun to walk. The surroundings of Clervaux has 3 of them.

Autopédestre trails

The autopédestres tours are well known in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. These are hiking loops that can be found throughout the country. With clear and precise signposting and a route designed to enable you to discover the most beautiful panoramas and landscapes, autopédestres tours are perhaps the ones to discover first. They are safe and approved by the country's Ministry of the Economy.

Loop walks for the family

Ideal for family outings during your visit to Clervaux, these loop walks are all between 4km and 9km long. Even if the area is quite hilly, these walks are accessible to all types of ramblers.

Sporty hikes

You will find here all our loop walks in Clervaux of a length equal to or longer than 10 km. These signposted walks, for experienced walkers, will take you through the most beautiful landscapes around Clervaux.

Sustainable hiking - From station to station

In collaboration with the CFL, we propose here 3 hikes departing from the stations of Clervaux and Drauffelt. No more need to bother with the car! As a reminder, train journeys within the country have been free of charge since 1 March 2020. These hikes are designed with the possibility of stopping at various places to eat and take a break during the walk.

Long circuits

These 2 long loops are proposed as part of the Escapardenne. One starting from Clervaux, the other starting from Heinerscheid. The loop "between Woltz and Our" is 42 km long (3 days), whereas the loop of "the hidden landscapes" is nearly 80 km long (4 days).

Various campsites or establishments are located on the road to allow you to spend the night.

Éislek trail

This hike, starting from Kautenbach or La Roche-en-Ardenne (BE) covers 106km through the most beautiful landscapes of the Eislek. From formidable escarpments to country plateaus, passing through deep forests, this route holds many surprises in store for you. Clervaux is of course on the route, as is the village of Munshausen. 

The daily routes are between 17,5 km and 25,5 km long, for a total of 5 hiking days.
